Goodbye to this blog, which has been very fun for 3+ years. It's a bit of happy work to have three kids in the house, so mommy is making one new super blog over here for us three darling kids. Christmas

Christmas was really fun. I slept until 9:15 when mom and dad had to wake me up
then it was stocking time

Lily and I got curious george stuffed animals. we showed them to Ollie...he was thrilled

Friday Grammie and grandpa came and we got more presents
aumtie Julie and her man Jarrod came too
they got me this awesome Thomas puzzle, which I have put together about a million times already
I was really sad when present time was over, but overall I had an awesome Christmas!

We went to Mummi and Papa's for Thanksgiving last week. Our grammie and grampa came too, and our cousins. But mom didn't take that many pics....

Here I am coloring on the sketch pad mummi bought me. I got grampa to draw with me too, he drew an awesome batman

On Sunday we had a little holiday gathering with friends, which also turned out to be a surprise baby shower for baby duckie. When us kids got bored with the adult chatter mama put on some They Might be Giants Podcasts for us

It was a HUGE hit.

we had a TON of fun and I was really sad when they had to leave. I want grammie and grandpa to bring them for another sleepover soon, but grammie and grandpa didn't get any sleep and they didn't seem anxious to do it again too soon ;)

Grampie's birthday

Grampie turned 50 earlier this month and we threw him a surprise party yesterday in NH

I really enjoyed running around and goofing off with my cousins. Mom and dad were impressed by how long I actually played WITH my cousins, and therefore how long Gillian also played with them.
It was invigorating

as the afternoon wore on I played with Alexia's dolls, practicing my big brother skills...kissing them and putting them to bed...then baking them in the toy oven and eating them....ahhh yes, the play of boys

On the Casco Bay ferry last sunday going to Peaks Island

I really enjoyed the ferry ride because I got to see all my favorite lighthouses from out in the BAY. It was awesome.

Wednesday, we read Chicka chicka Boom boom, (and listened to Ray Charles read it too) Then I got to paint a coconut tree like in the book

Today I am officially 3 years old! Here I am eating my birthday chocolate chip pancakes mama made me, with my Thomas balloon that held up form saturday's party.

mama let me open ONE present. man, now I have to wait ALL THE WAY until supper. I'll be asking mama ALL DAY LONG if daddy is home yet and when it will be supper time.(oh goodie)

Picking berries. Mama couldn't drive by the sign twice, so on the way out of cape Elizabeth we stopped for strawberry picking.

I insisted we go check on the big red ship to see if it was still docked. and it was. We hung out at Bug light park for about a half an hour before mom was too tired for any more outing. Wuss (during our picnic we saw, way out in the distance, the big blue oil tanker we watched the tugs bring in the other night, so I was curious if the red one that had been docked that same night also left for sea. mama thinks this is a different red ship, whatever, what does she know!)

This is me in my new fishy float at Sebago lake. It was WINDY that dayso windy the waves had white caps and I got splashed over the head by a big wave. I was not thrilled. I came out to get wrapped in a towel and enjoy the sand and sun.

Last saturday we went to see a Sea dogs game as part of mama's Mother's Day present.

I went to the Naples Library today. FIrst I made a funny bunny basket with Mama's helpThen upstairs we went egg hunting, filling up the basket with 6 eggs

Every time I go pee or poop on the potty I get "monies" in it so I go can (eventually) buy Thomas the train at Reny's. It's a big thrill

Mama's note: Brucie goes on the potty several times a day now. We're sort of starting with the montessori/"showing interest" method and then we'll switch over to a potty training week where we do it all the time...fun fun. In the meantime, we set him on there anytime he'll let us and we ask at various times of the day. He went from being totally against the big potty to being pretty good about it all the time. We started with lolipops bribes, but decided we didn't want to rot his teeth while teaching him to use a toilet....little things, little things.
